Common Magic was created from a simple belief: magic doesn’t have to be extraordinary.

Sometimes it’s a crystal you keep on your desk because it reminds you to slow down. A candle you light when you need to mark the end of a long day. A tarot card that gives you a new way to look at something you’ve been carrying around. A tiny ritual that turns an ordinary Tuesday into something that feels a little more intentional.

I’ve always been drawn to the space where the mystical and the everyday overlap. Common Magic grew out of that curiosity: a place to explore crystals, tarot, ritual, herbs, and other tools for reflection and intention without taking the fun out of it.

​

There’s a lot of mystery surrounding spiritual practices, and I think that’s part of what makes them beautiful. But you shouldn’t need to be an expert to participate.

Common Magic is for the curious.

You can come in knowing exactly what you’re looking for, or with absolutely no idea what half the crystals on the shelf are called. You can be deeply practiced, casually interested, or simply someone who thinks tarot cards are beautiful.

There’s no right way to do it.

Our goal is to make these practices feel approachable, thoughtful, and a little bit more grounded in everyday life.
